The trail starts at the end of Hwangjeom village and climbs past the Rest Rock and the last stream crossing to the Sakkatjae shelter, 4.2 km in all. The stream follows you for a long time, then the last 0.8 km turns suddenly steep. The Sakkat spring beside the shelter is one of the sources of the Hwanggang River. Some come to sleep and walk the ridge next day, others only to drink and turn back.
