From Yeonggaksa you walk over Namdeogyusan, Sakkatbong, the Sakkatjae shelter, Muryongsan, Dongyeopryeong, Baegambong and Jungbong to Hyangjeokbong. Add the descent to Samgong and it is around 27 km. Most people sleep at the Sakkatjae shelter and reach the summit on day two. To get to the shelter before dark, start before noon on day one.
