Yuksimnyeong is the pass between Jangsu and Hamyang. From here you cross Halmibong and Seobong to reach Namdeogyusan in 8.8 km, then drop 3.4 km to Yeonggaksa, a little over 12 km in all. The ups and downs are long and fill the day. Leave the car at Yeonggaksa and taxi to the pass to walk the ridge in one go.
