The Yuksimnyeong-to-Gucheon-dong route turns down at Hyangjeokbong to Gucheon-dong; this one stays on the ridge. From Yuksimnyeong it runs through Namdeogyusan, Sakkatjae, Muryongsan, Dongyeopryeong and Baegambong, then Hoenggyeongjae, to end at Paejae, about 31 km. Most people split it with a night at the Sakkatjae shelter. Hyangjeokbong is not on the route.
