A 9.9 km traverse from Myojeokryeong over Myojeokbong and Dosolbong down to Jungnyeong pass. It sits a step off the main Sobaeksan crest, so it is quiet, and you get peak after peak. A slow pace easily passes five hours, so start early in short-day seasons. The trail drops onto the Jungnyeong pass road at the end.
