Walk the Suryeondong stream to Yeongsiam, then fork left at the Oseam junction. The last 2.5 km rolls up and down through forest. Oseam is the hermitage tied to the legend of a five-year-old who survived a snowed-in winter. It sits at 830 m, not a summit, but still takes close to four hours one way.
