From the Baekdamsa yard you walk beside water past Yeongsiam and up the Suryeomdong valley to Bongjeongam. Above it a steep stone path climbs to Socheong, then on past Jungcheong to the summit. It is about 12.9 km one way, roughly six hours by the park's own estimate.
