Walk about 8.5 km from Baekdamsa to Oseam, climb 1.4 km more to Maneungnyeong and cross over to the Seorak-dong side. From the pass the trail is a long descent via Biseondae to Sogongwon. Together it is 16.4 km, with a rest at Oseam almost a given. There is no water at the pass, so fill up at Oseam.
