This is the approach from the opposite side to Yongmunsa, on the Yangpyeong-eup side. You start at Baegan-ri around the Yongmunsan forest park, cross the Gahyeopchi pass and join the route to the top. The distance to the summit is long, so it takes much more time than the tourist-complex route. Few people use it, and it suits a day spent fully on the mountain.
