The usual route up Baegunbong, a 941 m rock peak at the end of Yongmunsan's south-west ridge. You follow the valley behind Sanasa up to Gureumjae, then take the ridge to the top. The last 200 m or so rise sharply over a short distance, with ropes and iron steps. From the summit the whole Yongmunsan ridge lies in front of you.
