On a day with no time for a climb this is the easiest walk in Seorak-dong. It is 0.7 km from the Sogongwon entrance to Sinheungsa, wide and flat. A large bronze Buddha stands in front of the temple with the rocky peaks lined up behind it. Out and back takes about 40 minutes.
