The first stretch to Biseondae is the same flat path, then the Geumganggul sign sends you up onto the rock. Steel stairs cling to the wall for a long way and the ridges above Seorak-dong open up behind you. The ledge at the cave is narrow, so nobody lingers. It is 3.6 km one way from Sogongwon and about two hours up.
