From the Donghwasa terminus the loop takes the Sutaeji side path to the flat rock in the Sutaegol stream, climbs the Buinsa trail, then returns along the ring road trees. Daegu city lists 7.1 km and 2 h 30 min. The left-hand trail after Sutaeji has a stiff climb. Open only June to September, so plan it as a summer valley walk.
