The walk starts on the Tapgol trail, crosses Kkaldak Pass and Sangsanggol and enters the Donghwasa grounds. After an out-and-back to Pokpogol it finishes at the Bonghwangmun gate. Daegu city lists 8.2 km and about 3 hours, medium difficulty. It can be walked in reverse. Good in spring, summer and autumn.
