A newer path that runs up the valley from the Shinseongam entrance on the Seonjae trail to the Mireugam hermitage at Bukdae. Bridges cross the stream several times and timber stairs make the rocky parts easy. Water is beside you the whole way, and the roof of the hermitage appears just when your breath runs short. A good add-on for a day when the flat Seonjae walk feels too short.
