The trail climbs along the stream from the Baemsagol ranger station toward Hwagaejae. Clear water runs over rock the whole way, so the sound never stops. There is almost nowhere to buy food inside the valley, so bring water and a lunch. The sign at the station gives 6.9 km to Hwagaejae.
