A road already takes you most of the way up to Seongsamjae, so you start walking high. The path rises gently past Nogodan hut to Nogodan pass, where the ridge stretches away both ways. On a clear day you can see the two round humps of Banyabong in the distance. A light round trip takes 2-3 hours.
