The trail starts above Sinwonsa near Geumnyongam and enters the forest. Gowangam appears in under an hour, then another hour and a half to Yeoncheonbong. Far fewer people than at Donghaksa or Gapsa, so you hear your own footsteps. At Yeoncheonbong Pass you can drop to Gapsa instead.
