From Sinwonsa the route passes Gowangam and Yeoncheonbong Pass, climbs Yeoncheonbong and Gwaneumbong, crosses the Jayeonseongneung ridge, and drops over Sambulbong and Nammaetap to Donghaksa. The park office lists 9.9 km and six hours. Starting at the quiet south end and finishing at Donghaksa, it fills a whole day. The calm of the Sinwonsa side is its quiet virtue.
