From Sinwonsa the path passes Gowangam, climbs to Yeoncheonbong Pass and drops through Wonhyodae to Gapsa: 5.1 km, about three and a half hours. No summits are climbed, yet it joins the southern and northern valleys. The Sinwonsa side is quiet; once over the pass you hear Gapsa.
