From Sanseong Pass you climb along the wall to Daeryukbong. The wooden steps and steep start get the sweat going, and the flat rock on top looks over the city and the sea off Haeundae. Then the 2nd watchtower, the South Gate, Mangmibong and the helipad lead to Sanggyebong, and past the 1st watchtower you reach Paribong, a rock lookout with cliffs on three sides. The last stretch is a forest path down to Hwamyeong Arboretum. It covers the whole western ridge in one go.
