From Sanseong village you pass Gukcheongsa, climb to the North Gate, and carry on to Godangbong. It is about eight kilometres and a bit under three hours without breaks. You finish near the village, which suits a bowl of makgeolli and pajeon. It is quieter than the Beomeosa side.
