Daeseomun-gil, Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu

Pass the Daeseomun gate of the old fortress, climb a gentle valley path, and join the summit ridge at Baegunbongammun. It is much longer than the Ui-dong route, but the lower half is gentle enough to warm up. Temples and gates sit beside the path. The last rock stretch is the same iron-railed climb as the Ui-dong side.
