This is the second of the five Gichan Moetgil sections, the culture stretch. It runs 7.3 km in about 2 hours 35 minutes, from Wolchulsan Gichanland through Hodong village to the Dogapsa entrance. The walk is mostly flat, through fields and villages under the rock peaks, so you can walk beside Wolchulsan without climbing it. At the far end you can carry on up the Dogapsa trail.
