From Jangsudae to Daeseung Falls the path is a short walk on wooden steps. Past the falls the people thin out and the climb lengthens. Daeseungnyeong is the 1,210 m pass where the northwest ridge and the Sibiiseonnyeotang valley part ways. Few reach it, but the ridge view from the pass is wide.
