This is the classic Namsan traverse: up from Samneung over Geumobong, then down into the Yongjang valley. Soon after the descent begins, the three-storey pagoda of Yongjang temple stands on the ridge. Below it come a carved Buddha and stone figures, then the stream leads out to the village. Stopping at everything takes half a day.
