From Jungsan-ri ranger station the route runs past Rotary hut, Beopgyesa and Gaeseonmun to the top, around 5.4 km one way. The first stretch beside the stream is gentle, but beyond Beopgyesa stone steps and rock go on and on. After Gaeseonmun the sky opens, and a rocky slope just below the summit is the last test. Allow about 4 hours up and 3 hours down.
