From the tourist parking lot you follow the village road into Togol. When the forest path ends, the Sinseondae rock ridge begins, and you cross the blade-like wall of Peak 853 to reach the broad summit. The way down follows the Sumeun-gol valley, steep and studded with uneven stones, so trekking poles help your knees. Every sheer pitch has a bypass trail beside it.
