You start beside the Jeogam rest stop, walk through the village past a closed school, and enter the forest at a cherry-tree fork. Past an old temple site and a spring you reach the main ridge, cross Peak 853, drop to a saddle and climb again to the top. Ropes help on the rock sections. The way down loops through a gorge back to the start.
