A long way up that starts at the university, passes Gobyeoldae and the East Gate, goes by Buchaebawi, and reaches the North Gate before the final push. You alternate between wall and granite ridge. It runs close to twice the length of the Beomeosa route, so plan it as a full day. Pick it when you want a long look at the scenery on the way up.
