You start at the city park gate, climb to the South Gate, then follow the ridge past Mangmibong and the helipad to Sanggyebong. Up on the ridge the western side of the fortress and the Hwamyeong side open up. The cable car runs right nearby, so most people argue about walking or riding. Come down the way you went up, or drop to Hwamyeong.
