From Baenae Pass it is only about 20 minutes to Neungdongsan, the easiest summit in the Yeongnam Alps. After the top, an hour toward Seoknamjae brings the ridge up against Gajisan's flank. Then the Ipseokdae rocks and the 813 m cairn, a drop to the old Seoknam tunnel, and the Soejeomgol valley path. Past Ocheonpyeong rock you come out near Baekyeonsa. About five hours with stops, a full but not brutal day.
