From the small bench about 50 m below and left of the shut-down Gajisan rest stop, the trail enters the woods. After about 15 minutes there is a lookout rock, and the Ipseokdae rock tower follows. Bypass paths exist, but the ridge itself is the fun part. The cairn on the 813 m peak is a bit over an hour in. From there you drop to the old Seoknam tunnel and follow the Soejeomgol valley out toward Baekyeonsa. Three hours of walking, nearly four with a rest by the stream.
