From the Hobakso car park you walk toward Baegyeonsa along the old Route 24, then turn onto the Baegunsan climb. It is a stony, steep pull with one roped section. At the saddle you swap to the Unmun ridge path and the hardest part ends at the Gajisan summit. The way down passes Jungbong and drops into Soejeomgol, where small falls and pools follow one another, then Ocheonpyeong rock and back to Hobakso. It is 13.5 km and close to seven hours with rests.
