You step into the forest beside the small shrine at the pass, cross the pine stand at Hatdaetdeung and rest at Tonggol-mogi. One steep pull up to the 1243 m shoulder, then a soft ridge carries you to the summit. Starting at 810 m, the climb is far smaller than from the valley side, but you walk the same path back.
