The route starts at the 810 m pass, follows the Baekdudaegan ridge over Dutasan (1,353 m), crosses the Baektal gap and Munbawi rock to Cheongoksan (1,404 m), then drops off the ridge at Yeonchilseongnyeong. It runs down past Sawonteo into Mureung Valley and ends at Samhwasa. A Baekdudaegan outing schedule puts the start at 6:30 and the finish around 3:30 in the afternoon. It is the longest one-way line for anyone who wants both peaks in a single day.
