Past Samhwasa and the fortress site you reach the Dutasan summit, drop to Bakdalryeong and climb on to Cheongoksan at 1,403 m. From the spring junction below the top, the Hakdeung ridge drops on and on to the layered cliffs at Munganjae, then a gorge bridge leads back toward Samhwasa. A shorter exit leaves Bakdalryeong toward Yongchu Falls if your legs give out.
