From the main gate you go up first to Bukmireukam to see the rock-cut Buddha, then join the ridge at Osimjae. The Noseungbong summit is broad enough for a picnic. The descent runs over Duryunbong and the rock bridge to Ilji-am, the hermitage where the monk Choui brewed tea, with its tea garden and spring still there. Allow five to six hours.
