About 2 km of forest road follows the valley from the park car park up to Daeheungsa. Arbor-vitae and cypress close over the path and keep it dim. There is hardly any climb, so it works on days you do not feel like a mountain. The temple yard has the main hall and the Hall of a Thousand Buddhas.
