The shortest way onto the Daedunsan ridge from the Geumsan side. From the trail entrance inside the Taegosa plaza it is 1.2 km and about an hour to the Nakjodae junction. It is steep stone path the whole way, so your breath goes early. From Nakjodae you see Chilseongbong and Maecheondae together, and you can carry on along the ridge to the summit.
