In place of the usual boulder marker, a ten-metre pioneer tower from 1970 stands on top. On busy days you queue for photos with it. Rock peaks and ridges roll away in every direction, and on a clear day distant ranges stack up. The wind is strong, so most people snap a photo and step aside.
