Same Surak car park, but it forks toward Seokcheonam instead of the Gunji Cloud Bridge. You pass the victory tower at the valley mouth, take the branch toward Seokcheonam, reach Nakjodae, then follow the ridge to Maecheondae. It is 4.64 km and about 3 hours. A good pick when you want more forest and fewer people on the iron stairs.
