This traverse climbs from Hwanggol past Ipseoksa and Ipseokdae to Birobong, then drops through the ladder ridge and Seryeom Falls to Guryongsa. Trip notices give about 11 km. Both the climb and the descent are long, so it takes a full day. The trick is to start early enough that the stream valley is behind you before dusk.
