From Doseonsa you climb to Yongammun, follow the wall, then take the waist-level path below Mangyeongdae toward Wimun gate. It is a longer way than the Haru Pass route, but you see the gate and Mangyeongdae up close. The last 300 m of ridge from Wimun has rails and steps yet still queues. On weekends the line can take up to two hours.
