This is the rockiest way up to the fortress from the Suyu-dong side. A stretch of bare rock steepens to roughly 44 degrees, and steel handrails now run up it. Past the rocks the roofs of Suyu-dong spread out below and the Dobong ridge fills the far side. At the top you meet the wall at Bogukmun, with Daedongmun and Daeseongmun both within reach.
