Starting at Cheonhwangsa, you cross the suspension bridge, go over Cheonhwangbong and come down to Gyeongpodae, cutting the mountain from Yeongam to Gangjin. The bridge, the Tongcheonmun passage and the summit all fall on one line. The last 2.9 km down the Gyeongpodae side is the gentlest descent from the top. The two ends sit in different counties, so settle the ride back to Cheonhwangsa before you go.
