Songnisan Gateway at Malti Pass, Jangan-myeon, Boeun

From the Malti Pass gate you climb past the pine park onto a dirt track with almost no built structures. You pass Moktakbong, Jungpan junction and Jangjae junction, roughly every 2 km. The decomposed granite surface is easy on the feet and the grades are gentle, so runners use it for training. It is green in summer, colorful in autumn and snowy in winter.
