It is about 4.6 km from the Eouigok trailhead to Birobong and takes roughly two and a half hours up. You start beside a stream, climb through forest, and at the Eouigok junction the sky opens as you reach the ridge. From there it is a grassy crest with low trees to the top. The shortness is paid for with a climb that never lets up.
