Climb about 1 km from the welcome center and take the left fork to Hongnyu Falls. The real ascent starts left of the falls, and once on the Kalbawi ridge Ganwolsan shows over the rock teeth. About an hour on the ridge takes you to the summit. Allow around 3 hours up, then loop back down via Ganwoljae.
