This is the Gyeongsan-side way up to Gatbawi, starting at the Seonbonsa car park. The climb takes about 25 minutes on well-kept stairs. After snow, the temple clears the steps, so ice is less of a worry. It is shorter and gentler than the Gwanamsa side from Daegu, which makes it the better first try.
